(fl. 18th-19th cent)
Polish Hasidic rabbi. Originally from Galicia, he moved to Lublin at the turn of the century. He was believed by the Hasidim to be possessed of the Holy Spirit and was referred to as 'Ha-Hozeh' (the seer). He published studies of the Bible, stressing the importance of the tzaddik.
